I absolutely love smoothies for breakfast, but I simply cannot function without protein loading first thing in the morning.
Many people love protein powder, and I am okay with that from time to time, but sometimes I want a smoothie that still tastes a sweet and tangy berry smoothie, without the protein powder taste that lingers no matter how you try to cover it up.
This protein smoothie has loads of antioxidants, and is packed with 20 grams of protein, and no fat- perfect for those who potentially are following the THM plan.
Simple, delicious, nutritious! Enjoy!
Berry Greek Yogurt Smoothie
Here's What You Need
- 1 frozen banana
- 1.5 c frozen berries
- 1 c zero fat greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp whole rolled oats
- 0.75 c almond milk
Here's What You Do
Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy! Enjoy!
- I like to use blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.
- Be sure to check for gluten free oats if needed!
- You can substitute and use whole milk, soy milk, or coconut milk, and more or less depending on how thick you want your smoothie! Always start with less, then add more.
